Why do we have to go to church? Worship is boring.
How can I follow Christ if I don’t even know if Jesus was real?
I don’t know enough about the Bible or God to be a Christian so why should I even try?
If you’ve ever asked those questions or shared those thoughts, you are not alone. Probably all of us have (or will) at some point. And that’s okay! Christians have always done these things and sometimes when people do something long enough, they forget why they started doing it in the first place. That’s where Visionary comes in: let’s take a look at the actions in our Vision Statement (Worship God / Follow Christ / Do Good) and think about why we do them and the vision for our weeks and our lives that they lay out. If we do that, we might just find that God has something good in store for us and the whole world when we participate in God’s vision for the rhythms of our life.
