It’s time to get set for our Fall Retreat! We are headed off to a new camp this year, Camp Canaan! Camp Canaan is on an island in the Catawba River near Rock Hill, SC, about an hour from Davidson. Canaan has some really unique activities like archery tag, high ropes, ziplines, and a frisbee golf course designed by the owner of the largest manufacturer of disc golf discs! In addition to all of that, we will be exploring the question “What Makes You Happy?” Throughout the weekend we will be diving deep into that elusive search for happiness and what wisdom the Bible might have for us in our quest. That search will take place in Big Group, Small Groups, team building, big group game Saturday night, lots of time hanging out in the great outdoors, and great meals with all our friends. Confirmands will also begin their confirmation journey on the retreat as well.

Leadership Our amazing Small Group Leaders will be given first dibs on leadership for the retreat. Parents who are interested in attending will be added to a wait list should additional leadership needs arise. Please let us know if you are interested!

Packing List The packing list will be pretty simple: comfortable clothes for outdoors that can get dirty, sleeping bag or sheets/blankets, flashlight, Bible, etc. A more complete packing list will be sent out closer to the retreat.
