Certified Fresh | 9/23 & 9/30
Everyone loves a good story and we all want to live a good story. We often think it’s our plans that determine the quality of our story, but when we look a little closer we realize it’s our values that enable us to tell a story that’s worth retelling. So how do we know we’ve picked the right values to live by? This series will explore our ministry’s values and share practical ways to make them part of our everyday lives as well.

 

Know God | 10/7, 10/14, 10/28, & 11/18
What does it look like to really know God? There’s no formula for knowing everything about God, but there are a few things you can do to get to know God better and in this series we’ll look at 4 ways people have known God throughout the centuries.

 

Into the Wild | Fall Retreat (11/9-11/1)
Sometimes God calls us to take a step of faith—a step out into the wild. We don’t know where God is leading, but we know God is asking us to trust and follow. In this series, we look at how Abraham followed God’s call into the wild, we’ll see that we can find the courage to do the same.

Big God Big Questions | Confirmation
Big God Big Questions prepares youth to understand and answer the Confirmation questions: Trusting in the gracious mercy of God, do you turn from the ways of sin and renounce evil and its power in the world? Who is your Lord and Savior? Will you be Christ’s faithful disciple obeying his word and showing his love? Will you devote yourself to the church’s teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers?

‘Tis the Season | 12/16
What are you looking forward to most this Christmas? Gifts? Great food? Family harmony? Christmas is such a big celebration that we often have high expectations of ourselves and others. In this 2-week series, we’ll be talking all things Christmas, focusing on how we can shift our eyes away from the high expectations we have for the holiday season and instead focus on the true hope, peace, and love that only come from Christ.

Through the Darkness | 1/6, 1/13, & 1/7
Have you ever turned on the news only to wish you hadn’t? Or answered a phone call only to wish you could un-hear the news on the other end? Whether it’s a global disaster, a school shooting, your parents’ divorce, or the death of a friend, there’s nothing fun about tragedy. It can make us feel like we’re walking around in total darkness—where nothing seems quite right and there are more questions than answers. At some point, we‘ll all find ourselves in or around a tragedy, but being there doesn’t mean we have to stay there. There’s a way through the darkness to the other side, to healing— and we’ll get there by trusting the One who is leading us.

Playing with Fire | 2/24 & 3/3
Have you ever thought about the power of your words? Our words can build someone up or leave them burned. In this series, we’ll discover that when we use our words for good, they have the power to change our lives and the lives of others for the better.

 

All Access | 6th & 7th Grades | 3/10, 3/31, & 4/7
There’s just something about being near the band or near the artist that makes a great concert even more fun. But there’s a limit, right? No matter how good your tickets are, you can only get so close. Maybe you’ve felt the same way when it comes to God. But what if that’s never what God intended? In this series we’ll explore what the Resurrection of Jesus really meant—for real people like us. And, we’ll discover that, because of Easter, we have an all-access pass to God and to the life God has for us.
