DCPC Youth is partnering with our church’s Local Missions Committee to put together a Crop Walk team of 30 participants raising $100 each. Our DCPC Youth goal is to provide 10 of those walkers and make a significant contribution towards the fight against local and global hunger. Wondering what Crop Walk is? It is a nationwide fundraiser for Church World Service, an organization that fights hunger worldwide but also acts in our neighborhood (CWS was in eastern NC in the wake of Hurricane Florence). This is the 40th year for the Charlotte Crop Walk and has raised over $8 million dollars (and $2 million has stayed in the Charlotte area).
