A new Sunday School opportunity will be premiering on January 5th during the 9:45 hour at DCPC! This inter-generational class is open to middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adults and each week will take a look at one of InLighten Films’ short videos based on the Bible reading for the day. We’ll take a look at the reading and the film and have some great conversation about both. Along the way participants will gain skills in reading and understanding both the Bible and the language of film. We will have a rotating cast of leaders which will include Scott Galloway (founder of InLighten Films), John Bragg & Steve Scruggs (producers for InLighten), and Matt Wiggins (DCPC Youth Director).

If you are interested in participating, there are a couple things you can do right now:

1. What should we call it? We are looking for a name that ties together film and the Bible and inter-generational nature of this class.
2. Sign up to provide snacks. A good Sunday School class runs on donuts!
3. Sign up to lead a Sunday. Leaders will be provided with tools to lead discussion, open up the scripture to the group, and insights into the films. In other words: anyone who is willing to lead a group can do it! Email Matt to get on the leader rotation.
