DCPC Youth & Global Missions are teaming up with Access 2 Success to support Hoops for Hope, basketball camps run by Access 2 Success in Nigeria this summer. Each camp participant gets a pair of basketball shoes as well as coaching, so we are looking for donations of new or gently used basketball shoes in a variety of sizes for boys and girls. We will have a bin set up to receive the shoes at these times & places:

• Monday – Friday 12:30-3 pm at the ramp door entrance to the main building (just hit the buzzer to be let in)
• Sundays 12-7 pm near the main entrance to the Congregation House

We will be accepting donations until March 19th.

Formerly known as Kicks for Cats, Hoops for Hope has been an A2S initiative for 11 years, and we are refusing to let the pandemic disrupt our 2021 efforts. In the past eleven years, we have distributed tens of thousands of shoes to youth around Nigeria through our summer programs. Not only that, but our summer programs have been the doorway for seven of our A2S US Scholars to travel to the U.S. to further their education.

We hope that by making a few adjustments to the event to fit the times, we can maintain or increase our efficiency. But we need your help. We believe that we can significantly impact Hoops for Hope this February alongside our community, in turn sharing smiles, inspiring hope, and empowering the dreams of our program participants in Nigeria.
