Youth Group on Sunday December 5th will look a little different than usual. We will be observing the 2nd Sunday of Advent through two different thematic lenses: the light and the dark. You are invited to join us for our Light hour (4-5 pm) or our Dark hour (6:30-7:30 pm) or both! All grades are invited to both hours so pick the one (or two) that work for you. Both hours are about hope, but here’s how they will differ:
The Light
- Focused on Jesus as the light of the Advent season
- We’ll be connecting with each other through games and conversation
- We’ll be connecting to God through prayer and exploring how God is calling us to light up the world
- This hour will be energetic and lighthearted
The Dark
- Focused on the dark as a place of rest and growth
- We’ll be connecting with each other through conversation
- We’ll be connecting to God through prayer and singing and exploring grief, lament, and hope
- This hour will be quiet and reflective
- Cameron Moore will be leading us in worship
