Cary Anne Melton

About Me

My name is Cary Anne Melton. I’m married to Joe Melton, and we live in Davidson with our son Isaac, who is a freshman at CPCC. Our daughter Claire is a senior at the University of Denver, but is spending this semester in Uganda. We have two dogs–Shadow and Lily. I’m a Territory Underwriting Manager for Chubb Limited, where I’ve worked for over 26 years.

I grew up in Davidson and at DCPC, and never went too far. I graduated from Appalachian in 1988, and lived in Huntersville for several years before moving back to Davidson in 2016. I was a “Just Four” Youth Group leader several years ago, and taught 6th/7th grade Sunday School from 2005 through 2009. I feel blessed to have had the adult influences in my life that I did growing up in DCPC, including my own youth group leaders, and that’s what has led me back to volunteering with youth. I’m excited about the Lead Small format, and getting to know our seventh grade girls.
