About Me

My family moved to Davidson 5 years ago from NY, where I worked in the city. Prior to that, we lived in Winston-Salem and Greenville, SC. Holly, my wife, and I have 3 sons – Jack (16) and Alex (14) are both at Hough and acive in Youth Group. Charlie is in third grade at DK8. We live in River Run. We are an active family with baseball, soccer, flag football, and tennis. We also enjoy getting out on Lake Norman. Holly is active in Children’s Ministry at DCPC by serving as a Sunday School teacher, leader of VBS, and participates with the Blythe LIteracy group at Church. I’ve been an SGL for the past 3 years and really enjoy seeing the youth bloom from “little” 9th graders to grown-up grads.

Why I’m a Small Group Leader

Engaging with young people is just an amazing experience. It is important that teens find relationships with adults outside of the family/school that are just there for them – no hidden agendas, no motives – just someone to build a relationship with and teach them a little about Christ. And, to be honest, I really enjoy it.
