About Me

My name is Mary Kate, and I am a senior in high school at Hough. I have an awesome mom, dad, and sister. I love to sing (I’m in the chancel choir at the 11 o’clock service), I swim and run, and my favorite subject in school is anything science related. I also am a youth representative for the Community Missions Committee. Jeremiah 29:11 is my favorite Bible verse.

Why I’m a Small Group Leader

Faith has always been an important cornerstone for me. Youth group in particular is a place where I could always go and be myself, without worry of judgement. I want to make sure the 7th grade girls get that as well. I want them to have a place where they can talk to someone, where they can grow in their faith journey, and where they can have fun.
