About Me

Hi everyone, It’s nice to meet you (many for the second time)! Last year was my very first year as a Small Group Leader, but I had SO much fun with my DCPC girls that I’m delighted to be following them into Confirmation this year. I grew up in Rock Hill, SC attending Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church, but moved to Mooresville after grad school in 2013 for my first “big girl” job at Lowe’s. Today I’m a Senior Brand Marketing Manager, which means I help create the Lowe’s ads you see on TV. My husband Brian and I live in Downtown Mooresville with our two naughty but snuggly cats Lotti and Pippin. Our house is down the street from Mooresville High School, so I get to sit on my porch swing and listen to the marching band practice – a major perk! I love singing, dancing, driving and building things, and I am really looking forward to youth group this year!

  7. Kyoto Japan
  8. Original Cheetos

  10. Laughing Until it Hurts

Why I’m a Small Group Leader

When I think back at the people who shaped me into the person I am, outside of my family and a handful of close family friends, most of the people who come to mind were members of the church I grew up in. People who just ‘showed up’ for me consistently with a smile, an ear or a round of applause. I can’t think of a better way of honoring these people than Laughing, Learning and Listening with my small group.
