About Me

My hometown is Fuquay-Varina, NC, and I would consider First Presbyterian Church of Garner my home church, where I attended from high school until I moved to Davidson 10 years ago. I went to NC State for Mechanical Engineering (and a little Materials Science as well) and was on the football team as a long snapper from ‘02-‘06. I finished grad school in 2011, and got a job with Stewart-Haas Racing, where I have been ever since, working in various roles (design engineer, 7-post engineer, race engineer, simulation/simulator engineer). I joined DCPC in early 2020 and helped last year with the 8th grade youth group.

Why I’m a Small Group Leader

I realize the impact that SGLs had on my church experience growing up, and respect their effort and sacrifices even more now that I know how busy life gets.
