Winter Retreat 2024

We’re trying something new this schoolyear: a winter retreat! On Friday February 9th we’ll head up to the mountains to visit Camp Grier, a beloved summer camp and retreat center just outside of the Pisgah National Forest where we’ll combine the favorite parts of our fall retreat with some wintry fun before returning to Davidson on Sunday the 11th.

While we’re there, we’ll have some of our favorite elements of Youth Group (meals together, big group, small groups, and games) plus some options for other stuff that we’ve never done before (horseback riding and mountain biking) and maybe some other fun like sledding and snowball fights (weather permitting). We’re still in the planning stages so keep tabs on this page for updates!

Confirmation families: confirmands planning on participating in the winter session of confirmation should plan on joining us for at least Saturday.

If you have any concerns about being able to pay for the Winter Retreat, please let Matt know! We do not want money to be an obstacle for any youth who would like to participate.
