One of our church’s beloved annual traditions is Youth Sunday, a morning of worship that is created and led by our 6th through 12th grade students. This year’s edition is March 17th at the 9:45 am and 11 am services (8:45 am will feature our senior preachers and a youth liturgist, but will be a “lite” experience). By moving students out of the pews and behind the pulpit, they experience worship in a totally different way through new understandings of the parts of worship and the responsibility of helping others connect with God. Youth Sunday 2024 falls during the season of Lent where our theme for worship is “The Fasts We Choose” where we have been exploring what we should be fasting from and what we should be hungering for. Our Sunday’s theme is fasting from judgment.

Preparation for Youth Sunday started is underway and will continue at Youth Group on March 10th and on the morning of the 17th. We’re happy to include anyone who is interested in participating!

Youth singers and preachers will meet in the chapel at 8:15 am. Youth who are speaking in the 9:45 and 11 am service meet at 8:45 in the sanctuary. Ushers need to arrive 30 minutes before their service (click here to sign up to be an usher).
